During my walk I had to fidget with them in order to hear the song properly.I am writing this review as I know that I've handled them carefully and stored them after each use to keep them from any sort of damage. It's hard to describe, but sound comes out of both buds, however, the bass-tones and certain background music isn't audible. Why do I have to replace them after less than nine months of occasional use. I purchased these buds in September 2008 and used them a few times a week while walking. Yesterday, while going out for a walk I noticed that I'm hearing only half of the sound.
I liked it so much I did buy another, hopefully this one will last more than a few months. The wire is so flimsy, apparently the flexing at the end causes it to break or otherwise short out. Love the sound, just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the wire developed a short at the point where it plugs into the ipod, rendering the earbuds useless.
I recommend this for anyone who likes crisp base. Pumped some punch into my archos 605's output. These are great. The sound better than my $100 Jabra C820s Headphones.
They look great. They sound great. I am one satisfied customer I like the V Moda Bass Freq Earbuds. They fit great.
They can be a little overpowering on the lower end sometimes, but that's easily solved buy turning the lower end down and the middle frequencies up on the EQ (the EQ on the player, not the headphones). Considering the price, I would recommend these bad boys to just about anyone. These are probably the finest earbuds I have bought. But all in all, the sound they deliver is rich, round, and clear. No buyer's remorse here. When they arrived, I was skeptical how good they'd be (they're awful small). But as soon as I put them in (they're pretty comfortable, too), most of the outside noise disappeared and I melted as they pumped sweet, phat bass into my ears.
